What is the Gravity?

Gravity is a program to simulate the path of move for bodies (i.e. objects with mass) altered by the gravity drive between each other, i.e. a gravity simulator.

 

 

What type of software is the Gravity?

Gravity is a shareware (demo) program, therefore there is a free (with reduced functionality) version to try this software and there are two types of purchasable version: single user (for individuals) and site (for institution) license.

 

 

How much is the Gravity?

For a single user it costs $15, and for institutions (with site license) it costs $45. But there is a free version to try out this software.

 

 

What is the system requirements to run this program?

A PC with Windows XP or Windows 2000 or Windows NT 4.0 is required to run Gravity. The running rate heavily depends on the performance of the floating-point unit in the processor and the graphical card.

 

 

How many objects can simulate simultaneously?

The number of bodies in not limited, but practically a few thousand of bodies can simulate uniformly, and a few hundred of bodies can move smoothly on the screen.

 

 

Is there a mechanism to copy data between two Gravity application?

Yes, the user can copy the selected bodies to the clipboard, and then paste to an other Gravity application.
