Load "Tutorial.grav" file and run a simulation (Motion/Run, F7). During simulation, you can switch the body names, vectors, trailing and all items of View menu on and off (except View... and Zoom... states, since these can be switched by clicking the Left and Right mouse button respectively during simulation). You can change the View by clicking the Left mouse button and the zoom by clicking the Right mouse button. If you press Shift or Control keys when clicking the mouse buttons, then you can switch to the continuous or plus states of the functions respectively.
You can also use Control Panel during simulation.
Using the Control Panel you can change the parameters of the System, Groups and Bookmarks in Edit state or even during simulation.
The parameters changeable in Control Panel can also be adjusted in the System dialog window, but the dialog window removes bookmarks (because bodies can change too), besides the dialog window is not available during simulation.
Load "Text Gravity.grav" file and start Control Panel, which consists of 4 pages.
Modify page
Using the first page, you can change system parameters that contain integer or floating point numeric values, i.e. no logical value (switch), no color, no list and no command.
Choose "Zoom" and the zoom value in the lower edit field appears (0.5), with the type of system parameter and limits: "double (0 – infinity)". The zoom multiplication value cannot be zero or negative value (it should be in the open range of 0 and infinite).
Move the slide on the right side carefully to adjust zoom. If you release the slide by releasing the Left mouse button, the parameter is fixed and the slide resets to its starting value (0). The more you swing the slide the more the parameter will change.
You can make more rough change with the lower (Alter) value. The value can range between 1 and 9; the lower the value is the faster the change will occur, thus a higher value ensures a smoother approach to the required value.
You can also type the exact value of the parameter in the edit box, which can be updated by shifting to another controller (e.g. clicking on the slide).
Visuals page
The second page contains switches and colors that cause a visible change on the screen.
Others page
On the third page you can make changes and modify lists that affect the simulation progress.
Commands page
You can control the simulation, change the Background, selection and information color, group names, colors, and bookmark names on the fourth page. You can also add a new bookmark to the list, and view a bookmark in the list, which immediately appears on the screen.
When warnings are on, the program warns you or stops simulation if any of the selected warning events occur:
The events can be monitored upon each computing of a new position, or display updating. You can require a visual warning, when a warning window appears on the screen about the event, participants and parameters, or you can also select the audio warning, when just a beep warns you about the event. When audio warning is selected, the simulation will not break.
If you switch logging on, the program will save physical body data or warnings or both in a log file. The file can be saved upon each computing of a new position, or display updating.
